Jonathan Ray Celebrates after winning the 4-A State Title in Soccer

The 2010 C.E. Jordan High School men’s soccer ended a perfect season, the perfect way, on Saturday, November 20. The Jordan Falcons ran the table, finishing the season with 25 wins and……0 losses. Jordan outscored their opponents 19-3 during their stellar playoff run, and held Myers Park to 0 shots on goal in the championship game. Myers Park, out of Charlotte, NC, was 25-1 entering the championship match on Saturday night. ActivEdge’s Jonathan Ray had the assist on the second goal, sealing the deal for the Falcons. Teddy Mullin, another ActivEdge athlete (ranked number 6 in the country in the class of 2011)  played great soccer in the middle, helping to speed up the pace of the game for the Falcons. Joaquin Del Rosario, another ActivEdge athlete that plays for the Falcons, played great soccer the entire game, helping to control play up top with Mombo Bokar. Jordan had control the entire game thanks to their speed, aggression, and strength. As well as Jonathan Ray, Teddy Mullin, and Joaquin Del Rosario, other ActivEdge athletes that were on Jordan’s State Championship team were Luke Ervin, Yosef Teffera, Brook Teffera, Mark Harris, Christian Bowers, Ian Zimmer, Scott Upchurch, and Jake Driessman. Congratulations to Jordan High School and all of our ActivEdge athletes!
