Jonathan Ray and Joaquin Del Rosario started playing soccer with each other at an early age, but it was not club, and certainly not school (in fact, they played against each other in middle school). They played on the youth national team with each other, and years later reunited to play school, and now club together this past season. Jonathan, who was a product of Triangle Futbol Club, and Joaquin, a former product of Triangle United, decided to both make the switch to play for CASL’s Chelsea FC Academy team. There first season playing together on Academy, they have led their team to Nationals in Carson, California. The team finished the regular season with a 12-1-1 record, with 34 goals for, and only 5 goals against. Jonathan and Joaquin, both key players on a very competitive team, look to lead their team to a National Title when they head out to Carson. Congratulations Jonathan and Joaquin and good luck!
