Abby Anderson – Played basketball at Jordan High School. She is a hard working athlete who is dedicated to making herself better constantly. She will hopefully contribute to the basketball program at Belmont Abbey College.
Anthony DiFrancesco – A talented football player from Northern Durham High School. He was two-sided player at Northern and should be used as wither a defensive tackle or a tight end for Carnegie-Mellon University.
Devin Drewry – Played soccer and ran track for Durham Academy. He was an All-Conference selection in soccer and All-State selection in several events in track. The consummate team player, he ran the short sprints for DA at the state meet despite his best chance at an individual title in the middle distances. He will be attending Pamona College in California.
Dillon Flynn – Played soccer and baseball for Durham Academy. He played 4 years of varsity soccer at DA and captained them in his senior year. A talented and hard-working midfielder will take his skills to Ohio Wesleyan College.
Natalie Gallo – Played field hockey and ran track for Durham Academy and was an All-Conference and All-State selection in field hockey. She captained and led the field hockey team to a state championship. She will be attending The University of Richmond in the fall and hope to contribute on their field hockey team.
Will Goss – A talented soccer player that went to high school in Florida at Bishop Verot. He was an All-State selection and Player of the Year for his district. Will also lettered in lacrosse. He has chosen to go to High Point University on an academic scholarship and to play soccer.
James Heine – A tall and powerful pitcher that played baseball for East Chapel Hill. James started with rehab for his elbow before transitioning into a sports performance program. He will be taking his talents to the baseball team at Georgetown University.
David Hey – Played soccer and lacrosse at Durham Academy. A dedicated gym-rat and hard working individual with a unique blend of speed and strength, has chosen to take his lacrosse talents to the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.
Kari Kessler – A four-year letter winner in field hockey at Jordan High School. An All-Conference selection and captain her past 2 years, she battled through a torn ACL suffered her junior season in soccer to have a successful senior campaign. She will be attending Greensboro College in the fall.
Brandon Leedy – Played football at Jordan High School. Brandon fought through injuries and eventual shoulder surgery following his senior season to bounce back just as strong as ever. He will hopefully be utilized as a multi-position versatile player at Case Western Reserve University.
Michael Zimmerman, Jr. – Played soccer at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh. He was a team captain and All-Conference selection his senior year. He also played on a talented Triangle Futbol Club that was one of the best teams in the state. He received a prestigious academic scholarship to attend Christopher-Newport University in Virginia.
