Melissa Mosby, CPT
Personal Trainer • Coach • Movement Enthusiast
Melissa is an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer with more than eight years of experience training individual clients and coaching group fitness classes. From gyms to open fields, she has worked with clients across a wide range of disciplines, including youth soccer, obstacle course racing, injury recovery, and lifestyle transformation for those overcoming sedentary habits.
Melissa graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. She is currently pursuing her Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and plans to continue her education in nutrition. Melissa draws on her own athletic experiences—whether building her capacity for soccer, competing in ninja competitions, or tackling another obstacle course race like a Spartan Race—to fuel her ongoing learning. She then applies that knowledge to help her clients progress toward their own athletic and fitness goals.
Melissa is passionate about helping people set realistic yet challenging goals and guiding them toward success through consistent effort both inside and outside the gym. Her approach emphasizes long-term functionality and overall well-being, with each milestone building momentum toward lasting results. She enjoys working with clients of all fitness levels and goals and values the collaborative process that leads to meaningful progress.
