Scott Sulkin graduated from Hofstra University with a BS in Health Sciences and is a certified personal trainer through The National Strength Professionals Association. While attending Hofstra, Scott worked extensively in the University’s athletic training and biology department as a teacher’s assistant in anatomy and physiology.

After college Scott worked in Suburban Hospital’s physical therapy department where he got experience working with patients that had conditions such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. Scott also spent time at Over The Rainbow Camp and Kids Therapy Works to provide occupational therapy, sensory integration testing, and treatment to kids ages 5-13. Since 1999 Scott has worked as an assistant at The National Rehabilitation Hospital’s Regional Rehab Clinic in Bethesda.

In his more recent experience, Scott oversees a Gastric Bypass training program for pre and post-op patients in coordination with their Physicians and Nutritionist Specialties. Scott’s client roster includes many that have recently been discharged from physical therapy. His success in designing them appropriate fitness programs has earned him the reputation as one of the area’s top rehabilitation trainers. While working for Elite Athlete Training Systems, Inc., Scott developed a Junior Fitness program, with the mission of promoting fitness and helping kids see the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Scott works with various organizations such as the US Department of Health and Human Services Women’s Division as a Bodyworks trainer and Children’s Hospital, and is frequently asked to speak at area schools, conferences, and local businesses. Scott recently received a Certificate of Appreciation from Montgomery County Public Schools for the outstanding volunteer services that he has preformed in 2006-2007.
